We are Father (Ian) and Son (Joe) and both bring different qualities to our business. Between us though we have experience, technical ability, enthusiasm and a drive to work hard and offer value for money.
Ian Holmes – Qualified as a Home Inspector in 2006. Over the years I’ve done thousands of Energy Performance Certificates and Home Condition Surveys. My passion though is Photography using drones. I started out 12 years ago trying to build my own drone to take photos. Let’s just say that wasn’t my greatest achievement and it never got any higher than our living room ceiling! Since then technology has moved on in leaps and bounds, so much so that we are now able to fly and photograph just about any property regardless of location. We are both fully Insured and registered with the Civil Aviation Authority.
Joe Holmes – Having only recently finished college and wanting to get into work rather than go to University. I was offered the opportunity to train as a Domestic Energy Assessor with KIS property solutions. I’m not suited to being sat behind a desk all day, as I just have too much energy. So the opportunity to have the variety of moving around the local area, meeting people, surveying property, managing my own diary and an element of office work , ticks all the boxes for me. My father has ideas of me progressing on to Property Valuations and Condition Surveys, but we’ll see!!
Alongside KIS property solutions, we also run a Mortgage & Insurance business – KIS financial solutions and also fairly recently an online Insurance website – Protectyourthings This has always been our plan, so that we can offer everything property.
